Fuse Elements

A circuit in a system or a device, which operates under the conditions for which it was designed, is usually non-critical. But faulty components, human error or external conditions such as lightning can overwhelm the system.

For the various cases there are appropriate products that will bring about the safe operation or safe disconnection. Electrical saftety devices, such as the fuse or circuit breaker, protect against overload and short-circuit. A surge arrester can protect components and equipment against destruction due to lightning – and what may be even more important – protect against faulty operation.
